• Rather than eating three regular large meals a day, adjust your diet so that you consume five smaller meals instead;
• Do not eat foods that are likely to cause you irritation, such as foods that are spicy or fried, as these will sit funny in your stomach and cause excess acid;
• If the problem persists so much that it is causing you to lose sleep over it then consult your doctor who may be able to advise you of medication that can ease your burden.
